Thousands of UAE nationals and residents can now access the Arab world’s biggest ever event through Expo 2020 Dubai’s House of Volunteers.
Located at the heart of the action on the Expo site, this creative hub will host special events and exclusive activities for volunteers on the journey to 2020 and throughout the six months of the event.
More than 30,000 volunteers will help welcome the world to the UAE in 2020, introducing millions of people to the immersive experiences, exciting events and engaging discussions that will take place on the Expo site every single day.
About 70 per cent of Expo 2020’s visitors are expected to come from outside the UAE – the largest proportion of international visitors in more than a century and a half of World Expos. In many cases, volunteers will be their first point of contact, making them the face of Expo 2020 Dubai.
Nearly 8,000 people have expressed interest in volunteering with Expo, and many are already taking advantage of opportunities to take part in events, activities and brainstorming sessions.
The programme offers a variety of roles for volunteers, ranging from guest services and hospitality to international participants and sponsors.
Anyone over the age of 18 can become an Expo 2020 Volunteer, regardless of experience, background or nationality.
