From culture-packed cafes to grab-and-go dining and plant-powered cuisine, the eateries at Expo 2020 Dubai’s three signature pavilions will give a delicious taste of its subthemes of Opportunity, Mobility and Sustainability.

Visitors can eat to beat climate change at Terra – The Sustainability Pavilion, where Floozie Cookie makes its Dubai debut, serving up freshly-baked, 100 per cent vegan cookies with a variety of plant-powered sauces, such as date caramel, speculoos cream and dark chocolate ganache.

Terra is also home to Veg’d, a vegan all-day restaurant by celebrity chef Matthew Kenney, and XYST, where Kenney brings his plant-based approach to Mediterranean and Middle Eastern cuisine, creating vibrant, playful adaptations of traditional dishes, as well as Mudrá, a rooftop bar with views over the Expo site.

In line with the subtheme of Opportunity’s message to unlock the potential within individuals and communities, at Mission Possible – The Opportunity Pavilion, Canvas by Coffee Culture is an Emirati coffee roastery. Focused on taste education and interaction, and complemented by a culture programme, it will welcome visitors who seek a space to work, meet, design and create.

In Alif – The Mobility Pavilion, the gastronomic options are an ode to movement and connection, sharing ideas, ingredients and know-how, including Alif Cafe by farm2table, a casual sit-down eatery with a grab-and-go service.

Expo 2020 is set to be a food lover’s paradise, featuring more than 200 food-and-beverage outlets serving 50-plus global cuisines, as well as delicious foodie tours and innovative culinary tech.
