One of the seven Emirates of the United Arab Emirates, Ajman’s culture is steeped in exceptional hospitality. It is an inherited tradition borne out of the austere natural environment and the resulting emphasis on receiving and providing for guests. In Ajman, neighbours still celebrate life together, guests are warmly welcomed-in and sincere generosity is evidenced throughout everyday life. More than our beaches, quality driven hospitality offerings or investment friendly policies, it is the genuine welcoming nature of our people that defines Ajman’s true sense of place.
Ajman is one of the most diverse of the seven United Arab Emirates, awash with natural attractions, places of cultural and historical interest and idyllic beaches, complemented by a world-class tourism infrastructure, from luxury hotels operated by global brands to modern and efficient transport services. For these and many more reasons, the emirate has forged a reputation as a safe, peaceful and family-friendly destination, as well as a hub for romance, sport, relaxation and adventure, offering “something for everyone”.
From luxurious beachfront hotels to well-equipped city centre apartments, there’s a wide range of accommodation available in Ajman. With one million square metres of natural mangrove forest, Al Zorah Nature Reserve is a haven for bird and marine life. Al Zorah Nature Reserve is a vibrant ecosystem made up of mangroves, turquoise lagoons and sandy beaches, which is home to nearly 60 species of bird including pink flamingo, egret and heron.
Cradled by the Hajar Mountains, the tiny landlocked enclave of Masfout is a hiker’s dream and makes for a refreshing escape from the summer city heat. Known for its fertile agricultural land and high-quality marble, Masfout is in the south of the UAE near Hatta, a 90-minute drive from Ajman city. Its elevated altitude brings cooler temperatures and the rugged backdrop attracts outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
Malls are not just for shopping in the UAE. They’re also entertainment destinations, with restaurants, cinemas and family-friendly activities – Ajman City Centre Mall and Dana Mall are no exceptions.
