‘Welcome the Future’: global campaign from Expo 2020 looks ahead to a brighter tomorrow for all

The inspiring new campaign celebrates humanity’s achievements and ponders the limitless possibilities that lay ahead when we work together

We humans have achieved a lot in our time, from probing ocean floors to walking in outer space – but we’re not done yet.

That’s the message of ‘Welcome the Future’, Expo 2020 Dubai’s new global brand marketing campaign which launched today.

Building on Expo 2020’s theme ‘Connecting Minds, Creating the Future’, the 90-second short film highlights the fact that everyone on the planet has a contribution to make.

It invites the world to share Expo 2020’s vision of a brighter tomorrow for all – showing that when we come together, we can achieve anything.

Expo 2020 will transport visitors to new worlds through its immersive pavilions, where 190 participating countries will showcase the best of their culture and innovations.

Global cuisines, future-shaping technologies, world-class architecture and 60 live performances a day are just a few more reasons why the next World Expo will be an unmissable celebration enjoyed by millions.

Expo 2020 also seeks to inspire change, challenging visitors to play their part in creating a sustainable future for generations to come.

The marketing campaign reflects this voyage of human discovery using compelling cinematic visuals and slam poetry narration.

Sanjive Khosla, Deputy Chief Visitor Experience Officer for Expo 2020 Dubai, said: “This campaign reflects the positive and progressive spirit that has made the UAE the special hub for innovation and collaboration that the world has come to know.

“Expo 2020 Dubai continues to build on that spirit and will give millions of people from all over the world a once-in-a-lifetime chance to see what tomorrow will bring and to be part of creating a better tomorrow.”
