Global blockchain exhibition to be hosted at Dubai Exhibition Centre during Expo 2020

Thousands of visitors are expected to attend the multi-day expo and summit at the world-class exhibition centre co-located with Expo 2020

Few technological innovations in recent times have attracted as much interest – and confusion – as blockchain. But the veil on its revolutionary promise will be lifted in November 2020 when more than 300 fintech firms and thousands of experts and enthusiasts gather in Dubai to attend a major global blockchain exhibition and summit at the Dubai Exhibition Centre.

From 2 to 6 November 2020, BlockExpo and World Blockchain Summit 2020 will captivate technologists, futurists and savvy investors at the Dubai Exhibition Centre (DEC), co-located with Expo 2020, where the world’s brightest minds will gather in a 173-day celebration of human progress and potential.

BlockExpo is expected to attract thousands of attendees and will rely heavily on DEC’s state-of-the-art conference and exhibition solutions to mesmerise audiences with interactive discussions on the future of data, currency and computing technology.

Najeeb Mohammed Al-Ali, Executive Director, Expo 2020 said: “The Dubai Exhibition Centre is attracting some of the most important events and conferences in the world. We offer a cutting-edge venue with a unique value proposition, co-located with an Expo that will attract the most forward-thinking minds and ideas on the planet. We’re excited to host an event centered on a technology as innovative as blockchain because it aligns with our promise to be a world-class venue that celebrates human brilliance and achievement.”

The event is organised by Shanghai-based Atlas Capital, a global investment firm focused on fintech and the blockchain sector.

Dubai Exhibition Centre is a world class and state of the art exhibition and conference venue co-located with the Expo 2020. With over 45,000 sq m of fully customisable space, equipped with cutting edge technology, it can be configured for all types of events, including conferences, exhibitions, summits, banquets and even indoor concerts for up to 20,000 people.

The co-location of Expo 2020 and the Dubai Exhibition Centre provides a unique opportunity for business delegates to network with Expo 2020’s more than 200 participants, including nations, global multilateral organisations, businesses, educational institutions and millions of visitors.
