    Expo 2020 Dubai, together with SAP, its Innovative Enterprise Software Partner, will digitise and automate procurement processes via a unified digital procurement payment platform, on which more than AED 1 billion transactions have already been made.

    SAP Ariba solutions offer a complete end-to-end system that enhances transparency and efficiency across the event’s global supply chain. The platform provides registered companies with a clear, efficient process – from tendering to receiving payments and signing contracts, as well as submitting invoices and tracking payments in real-time.

    Expo 2020 is striving to host one of the most digitally advanced World Expos ever by automating and streamlining its processes. It has put special emphasis on small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in its commitment to drive long-term business growth in the region. More than 25,000 businesses are already registered on SAP Ariba Network and benefiting from its fully digitised and automated procure-to-pay lifecycle.

    Expo 2020 Dubai, which opens its doors from 1 October 2021 to 31 March 2022, is the first World Expo to receive the Procurement Excellence Award from the Chartered Institute of Procurement & Supply.
