Expo 2020 accessibility facilities and services
    Quiet rooms
Expo 2020 has four dedicated Quiet Rooms. Located at four of the Information Centres, they provide spaces for people feeling overstimulated, overwhelmed or anxious. They contain a sofa, an innovative sensory pod and a sensory corner.
    Service dog relief areas
Service dogs will be welcome at Expo 2020. Dogs must be on a leash or harness that identifies them as a service dog. Visitors must always be in control of their service dog.

Please make sure you have up-to-date travel documents (proof of vaccination, and documents indicating that the dog is there for assistance) and be prepared to present these on arrival at Expo 2020.

Service dogs are permitted to relieve themselves in one of the four dedicated service dog relief areas on site.

We recommend you bring a bowl so that your dog can drink regularly throughout the day. We can provide water on request for your dog, but not food.

Please note: our staff and volunteers are not permitted to look after your dog. If you want to take part in an activity that does not allow dogs, you must leave your dog with a companion.
    First aid
Your well-being is our top priority.

If you begin to feel ill or need medical assistance, please do not hesitate to visit one of seven First Aid posts. All staff working in these centres are fully qualified and equipped to provide visitors with the necessary care in an emergency.

Our First Aid posts will be open 7 days a week.

    Storage of special products

If you need to keep medication refrigerated, you may leave it at a First Aid centre. No other medical equipment can be held by Expo 2020.

Special products must be carefully packed, sealed and clearly labelled with the name of the owner.

It must be collected by the end of the day. Any items that are left behind will be disposed of.
    Accessible toilets
There are accessible toilets located throughout Expo 2020. These are detailed on the map and consist of different types:
    • Standard and ambulatory toilets – some urinals and cubicles contain grab bars.
    • Standard accessible toilets that provide space for self-transfer for wheelchair users and grab bars.
    • Changing Places toilets – these toilets feature a changing board and hoist. There are four changing places toilets located at Information Centres, evenly dispersed throughout the site to ensure minimal distance and time to get to one.
